Today Is the Day

Well - Trena and Julia are headed for the States. It has been a really busy week getting ready for their departure... but we're all about as ready as we can be! I know they are going to have an amazing time in America for the next several months. It is going to be a bit of a transition for me to get used to handling things here in Nakuru. But I'm up for the challenge! Here it goes.

Galatians 6:14
"May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world."

Drive To and From Nairobi

Yesterday Trena, Elizabeth and I headed to Nairobi for the day. Trena had some errands she needed to do before leaving for the States on the 14th. We left early Friday morning and on the drive there we passed some baboons... didn't have my camera ready so I missed them! We got to Nairobi about 10:30am and spent the next several hours running errands. Good times were had by all. And then it was time to head back to Nakuru before dark. On the way home we saw zebra, encountered some traffic and got caught in rain but we made it back safely :)

Here are some pictures from our drive:

Julia's Journey to Texas

The visa interview, the final step in the process for Julia to be able to go to the States, is scheduled for Tuesday morning. Please keep Trena and Julia in your prayers! Pray that they have all of the documents in order, and above all, that the Lord's will be done.
